FAQ

Is my deposit hidden?

No. The USDC you send and the number of shares minted are both in the deposit instruction for anyone to read. The shares then move into your confidential balance; from there on, your running balance and any transfers between holders are sealed. Redemption is public too: you move shares out of the confidential balance first, then redeem.

Who can read the strategy?

The rule set is encrypted for Arcium's cluster and stored that way on chain. The nodes compute the next order on it without reading it; the rules stay sealed as long as one of the three mainnet nodes is honest. Whoever wrote the rule set knows what they submitted, which is why a new one waits seven days in public before it applies.

Can the operator take the money?

No instruction moves pool assets to an arbitrary address. Assets leave only through redemption, to the holder, or through a checked trade from one vault into another. The operator can pause deposits, decisions and trades, never redemptions. The program's upgrade authority could replace the program; it is meant to sit in a multisig with a timelock.

Why Arcium and not a hardware enclave?

The engine measured both. An enclave's signed quote can be checked with Solana's secp256r1 precompile, but its certificate chain does not fit in a transaction, so the enclave's key would have to be pinned by hash. Arcium's callback carries a BLS signature the program verifies in full. The trade-off is trust in the cluster's nodes not colluding.

What is the manager?

A rule set of target weights and a drift band, encrypted for Arcium's network. The weights and the band are hidden, and the logic that compares them with the pool is public.

How big can a trade be?

An order sells the most overweight asset and buys the most underweight one, by the smaller gap. All trades in a UTC day stay under 20% of the pool's value at the start of the day, and each must deliver at least 99.5% of its input value at Pyth prices.

What are the fees?

No management fee, 5% of gains above the high-water mark paid in new shares, and 0.1% on deposits kept by the pool.

Is this registered, licensed or approved?

No. Nothing here is investment advice. The blind-trust comparison describes a mechanism, not a legal status.
